1. To change the date format on a per document basis, go to 
Document Settings. Once here please click on the Advanced dropdown.
2. Once in the advanced dropdown find the Date Format field. Once here please select your preferred date style.
3. Once you have entered your preferred field please click Update. This will apply your chosen date format to the specific document.
